Scripts, scripts, scripts
Ashley van Buren, one of our Park alumni, is working for a production company in New York, and has been sending us scripts from major motion pictures, including Sideways, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and Pieces of April; new ones are arriving almost daily. They're in the Dean's office at this point, so stop by and borrow one if you're interested....

Is there an easy way we could make copies of these for educational purposes?
you should get a Park library going...collections of screenplays and film books.
It'd be great to see if we can make copies; I'll check with our donor. She's going to be sending several more this week, so we will have the beginnings of a library; maybe we could ask other alumni to contribute....Good idea!
I'm very interested. How long can we have them out for?
I think you can take them for as long as you like....we'll just keep track of who has what so we can email you if somebody else comes in looking for a particular script...
