ICTV breaks big news in Ithaca LIVE

ICTV's Newswatch 16 made history on Monday night with live breaking news coverage of a tragic event -- a shooting in Ithaca. We aired a live broadcast at 10 p.m with Matt Wright reporting via an internet connection, and we beat all the Syracuse stations to air with details and video of the scene! Tech director James Heasley, photographer Kathy Laluk, along with News Director Bryan Mercer and Producer Ben Nasta are to be congratulated for their amazing work -- they showed both sensitivity to this very sad event, as well as creativity in getting the story on the air.
