International Journalists learn from IC profs

Eight professional journalists from Africa, Asia, and South America made the long trek to the Park School in late July to participate in our Multimedia Workshop for International Journalists. During their visit, they got hands-on practice with digital audio, video, and interactive systems, and learned the art of multimedia digital storytelling.

Hosted by Journalism Department Chair, Dr. Matthew Mogekwu, the seminar included talks from working journalists and a number of stimulating tutorials from our our own Scholar-in-Residence, Vadim Isakov.

It was a pleasure to meet the participants and to see how enthusiastically they embraced becoming a Park School "alum" after a few wonderful days with us.

We truly are an international center for communications education at all levels-- undergraduate, graduate, and continuing professional education.
