Cheney sidesteps travel disclosure rules

BuzzSaw editor Kate Sheppard worked last summer for the Center for Public Integrity, and her story about ways Vice President Dick Cheney has refused to disclose the details of his travel appears on the organization's Web site today: It's a great story, well researched and well written. WASHINGTON, November 16, 2005 — Vice President Dick Cheney and his staff have been unilaterally exempting themselves from long-standing travel disclosure rules followed by the rest of the executive branch, including the Office of the President, the Center for Public Integrity has discovered.....
