Jobs, jobs, jobs!
Cal Borchers, May alumn and sports journalist extraordinaire, emailed me today to let me know that he has already landed his dream job: He's going to be the Sports EDITOR at the Citizen's News in Naugatuck, Connecticut. He moves into his new apartment on Monday and starts work on Wednesday.
Congratulations, Cal!
Proof positive that there IS employment after graduation....especially if you're a Parkie.
Anybody else landed a job already? Let us know: We love to brag about you, too.

22 Loud: Winners in every sense of the word!
The team that was 22 LOUD in Scott Hamula's Ad Lab this year made an extraordinary presentation to the Park School a few weeks ago, and then took the show on the road to the regional competition against other schools in the East.
The judges must have been either crazy or blind, but our guys came home knowing they'd done their absolute best (what else could anyone ask for?) and that the rules were....well, let's just say that we're taking the high road on this one and what really matters is that Team 22 LOUD did the Park School proud.
Way to go, guys. Great work.

Cohen makes Shoot the Messenger!
Jeff Cohen, director of the Park Center for Independent Media, will be a featured guest Monday night at 8 p.m. on Shoot The Messenger, a satirical wrap-up of the week's news from the brain of Daily Show Co-creator Lizz Winstead.
A live sketch comedy show incorporating multi-media elements, it gives us the world as seen through the filters of the fictional producers and on-air talent at "Wake Up World," the worst morning news show in America. It is an indictment - both hilarious and scathing - not only of the newsmakers, but of the news media that molds them. More info: http://www.shootthemessengernyc.com/
